The program enables
those interested in horses, both children and adults, the opportunity
to ride even though they are not in an income bracket that would otherwise
allow it.
At
Wellspring Farm, we provide an opportunity for children to learn all that
is entailed with caring for a horse. Feeding, turnout, blanketing, watering,
stall cleaning, grooming, tack cleaning are just a few of the many tasks
they learn at Wellspring. The program teaches them responsibility and
the feeling of accomplishment of a job well done. Requirements:
